Task1

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x82gWQFEpQA Bruce Nauman
this is Andy Warhol starring a Japanese commercial for a TDK video tapes
Warhol was a America pop artist, an artist that explored many a art expressions from drawing to film.
TDK is a competitive VHS company, a time before DVDs.

in this video Warhol is holding a TV (stand by screen) on his shoulders and saying the colours in Japanese (the colours on the TV). then opening his eyes as the ad finishes.
he is a iconic artist from American pop culture creating a connection of a high end product to fine art culture.
all relating to viewing/watching pictures.

M.I. Formats

Stop motion
a cinematographic technique whereby the camera in repeatedly stopped and started, for example to give animated figures the impression of movement.
GIF
a lossless format for image files that supports both animated and static images.
Vines
a free mobile application that enables users to record and share an unlimited number of short, looping video clips with a maximum length of six seconds.

in these few formats/techniques I'll be looking in to creating a short series towards my final piece.

Fuelled

a story of my night as a artist

the end

Other final photos

these where the others that i was thinking of may be putting them through. or take to photoshop and merge together as if there are multiple "me's" in one photo.

Experimenting

my original plan was to shoot my reflection out doors through my hair hiding the camera from itself. tricking the viewer to be me and see my through my eyes in a sense.
for my shoot I used a chunky Lumix camera with a tripod.
*my shoot was done in doors and i used coloured plastic bags to filter the flash as well a blue Frisbee.
i chose to be half nude to unveil more of me and show myself, may next time i'll go fully nude.

light testing-lights on-lights off with blue frisbee light-yellow plastic covering flash

lay out and camera angle-trying to my set up white background in frame.

angle didn't work so i switch to standing

with the camera facing the white wall i can adjust myself close up and far shots

the aim was to have dark male presents where he is disturbed by inner turmoil

Creating my own images

a few photos i took in response to the research i found.

>>
these photos where taken on my phone with the setting all set on auto (27 Photos), i shot the photos through my hair as the sun was setting, "difficulty level 100" :| my phone was flat on my face as i i was taking these, i must of looked like a idiot but as i took more photos my technique got better. need to use proper camera next time
>

i going to develop these over to add a subject of some kind and set different backgrounds. night/day-indoor/outdoor and maybe my reflection as my subject or a love one.

this is me playing around on photoshop with the idea of masking myself through what i see.

Walt Disney Pictures Intro Logo Collection (All Variations)

this is a great example of works that evolves over time and also merges the movies themes into the animation of the emblem.

The Reinvention of Normal

this clip is about being an idea factory with every day thing in life every day.

SELF

finding forms of layering and playing with ways to combine two things (and more)

in the 4 photos above i was thinking of bring together different items/combining/adding.
as well as that i might specifically do portrait shots. doing this may work in terns of framing an figure or up close shots.

merging is another abstract way to combine two or more images.
just the connection and the relation between the two subject has is a start then creating the work will configure itself.
